The Wine Selection
2007 Arbor Crest Riesling
Hand picked and hand sorted, this wine shows bright pineapple, lemon and honey characteristics that unfold on the palate as peach and almond. Slightly sweet to balance the bright acidity to create a long and supple finish.
2008 Pedroncelli Zinfandel DRY Rosé
Light ruby red in color with aromas of just-picked strawberries. Flavors of red raspberry, vanilla and peach blend together in this very enjoyable, end-of-summer rosé. Perfect with burgers and grilled salmon.

Color of light straw yellow. Intense nose with notes of green limes and black currants. Slight hint of musk. The palate is marked by Sauvignon Blanc’s typical fruitiness. Well-balanced and highly perfumed with flavors of black currants. A dry clean fresh finish of green tones.
2007 Capestrano Montepulciano D'OAbruzzo (Sangiovese)
Deep ruby color with some violet reflection. Aromas of strawberry, and ripe fruit. On the palate it is dry, rich with a great body. Excellent structure with a firm finish.
2008 Fratelli Pasqua Pinot Grigio (Veneto)
A quintessential Italian pinot grigio (in Oregon it’s pinot gris). Dry, crisp and perfect for seafood salads or cracked crab.
2008 Tilia Malbec-Syrah Blend
The nose is full of ripe black cherry and espresso aromas with light notes of white pepper. The mouthfeel is big and juicy, with dark fruit flavors, a touch of bitter chocolate and cinnamon from light oak aging. The finish is soft and lush with ripe, velvety tannins.
2008 O'REILLY'S Chardonnay
Lovely nose and great fruit flavor, starting with aromas of butterscotch and toasted nuts followed by flavors of honeydew, toasted nuts, and pear. Add a bit of tropical mango, pineapple and passinfruit and you have a summer wine twine that will impress the most discerning palatte.
2008 O'REILLY'S Pinot Gris - Oregon
Vibrant minerality and ripe, white grapefruit explode in the mouth and follow through with a very clean and refreshing finish. The wine is made from Casablanca Vineyard fruit and balances floral and stone fruit scents and flavors with clean, German-style minerality and a clean, crisp finish.
2007 OWEN ROE "Corvidae" ROOK
Corvidae’s “Rook” blended red wine is a crowd-pleaser. It’s a blend of Cabernet, Merlot, and Syrah from three distinctly different vineyards. A blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah, and 8% Merlot, this ripe and rich wine exhibits juicy loganberry, cassis, and a base note of black plum and cherry. Syrah adds richness, and Merlot smooths the velvet finish.
2008 PENNER-ASH "Roseo" - Rose' of Pinot Noir
Aromas of red raspberry, cherry fruit and spice. Full, round palate of pomegranate. Refined tannins with lightly toasted oak. Lingering finish. A bright, lush and forward wine that shows excellent structure and balance. Drinks great now and will continue to improve over the next few years. This is a perfect Pinot Noir – not just for 2007 but for the ages – and incredibly well priced!
2004 SOTER VINEYARDS - Brut Rose' Sparkling
And lest, we overlook our friends who love sparkling, here is one with a beautiful pale pink color in the glass and wonderfully fine bubbles. The wine has a spicy, blossom – laden complexity on the nose. Honey, suggestions of ginger, vanilla, and crème brulee overlay subtler notes of ripe cranberries and strawberries.
2006 - KUDOS - Pinot Noir
Fresh and fruity with a floral nose, soft focus and great mouthcoating feel combined with good acidity. Essence of tobacco, anise and earth. Big bang for the buck!
2007 SHARECROPPER'S Cabernet Sauvignon
With an oversupply of grapes, Owen Roe decided to put some of their excess first-rate fruit into neutral barrels and essentially split the profits with the vineyards. Most of the fruit for the Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Dr. Steve Elerding’s Six Prong Vineyard in Alderdale, Washington. Plush and forward with fresh berry notes, this wine promises excellent cellaring potential.
2007 OWEN ROE SYRAH - Ex Umbris
The Syrah for this wine comes from several vineyard sites — Slide Mountain Vineyard and Red Willow Vineyard, both located in warm western Yakima Valley — and cooler vineyards sites of LewisVineyard in The Dalles, and the unctuous fruitiness of Elerding vineyard located in Alderdale, WA. The current vintage exhibits all the fragrance, texture, and deep plum/gamey characteristics of great Syrah.
2008 J.K. CARRIERE "Glass" - White Pinot Noir Rose
In glass it’s the pale silvery pink of Champagne lingerie. The nose screams citrus and musk in the manner of flowering lime trees. On the palate the surprising and lip-tingling acidity of mouth-watering sherbet is pulled by a harnessed team of lemons and limes for a cool eternity into your warm summer night.
